@Wallsjm1 did you buy it? Are we having a mini meet? Im bored.

Im from here. Bought my truck from MD, brought it back to VA. Put 50k miles in 4 years, got a new frame, and put 50k more on. The new frame is doing great. I guess there's not too much salt here. Since you're going back to TN, there's not much to worry about. Hope the truck lasts a while for you.

Haven’t bought it yet. You saying yours came from MD and needed a new frame is a bit concerning. This one for sure hasn’t had the frame replaced.

being on vacation this week and not being able to find anyone on NoVA area willing or able to go look at it that has experience with rust etc is really a problem for me unfortunately.

I’m not sure what my options are honestly. If it wasn’t this week while I was on vacation I would just jump on a plane and go look at it.

if I could find a Tacoma owner that is knowledgeable on the rust issues I could just pay them and have them look it over for me and have it shipped. Not sure what I’ll do.

I have heavily modified mine, driven all over including the beach several times. I wasn't (and still not) religious with fluid film. Also mine has +3 years on the one you want..

Is there anyone in the Arlington area willing to go take your wife on a date, look over a truck frame and I’ll buy yall dinner? Would need to be today or tomorrow at the latest. Probably my last shot

I'll be up there this week, but in a suit. Not sure I'll be crawling around. But I have no issues going over to take a look. Honestly, the video shows a pretty clean frame and minimal rust. The whole idea that a vehicle is not well taken care of because of the region is ridiculous. Other commenters are correct about the use of salt % on roads and that can be remedied by high volumes of water. Also, if you're like me....I keep my vehicles in garages for further protection.
Anyway, when I read the post about taking wife for dinner I first thought he meant his wife.....and I was ready to sign up. HAHA!!
I don't get on tacomaworld on the weekends because I'm a keyboard warrior, so I apologize if I could have helped on this sooner.

Dude, you're living in an alternate reality.

Your 12 page thread just got shuffled off to the dumbgeon.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/buy-truck-sight-unseen.861295/

As I posted in that thread. Do this. For the sake of science. Let's see how you fare.

I'm not going to shit up this thread by going back and forth with your nonsense.
But I WILL ABSOLUTELY repost the lunacy you have posted elsewhere on this forum. Your words are the strongest case against you.

okay lol whatever you think. I did nothing wrong. Member went looked at truck, came back and reported I was cool and did nothing wrong.

he had a bad experience that’s on him I can’t help that.

then he changes his story and claims I’m an asshole. I am sure but it is what it is.

so you can believe what you want I don’t care. Literally pure entertainment to me.

if you think I am supposed to empathize with him because it was 90° out I’m sorry I do not. He knew the only request was frame inspection. That requires you to get on the ground. If he’s 60 and to old he should have just passed. He didn’t give me a bio on his health and temperature sensitivity before he offered. Yall are such cry babies lol
