I have a manual 1998 Toyota Tacoma 3.4l. I had a check engine light come up a week ago and have put 6new spark plugs, a new ignition coil, and both seals yet it’s still showing “random misfire and misfire on cylinder 3 and I don’t know what to do, I just ordered a camshaft position sensor and I’m honestly tired of throwing money at it. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

I would not toss parts at it until you run a compression test on #3. I would also put a 'noid' light on the injector wiring harness to check it, they are cheap and make testing easy.

I second a compression test. How old is the cam belt?

Line up the crank pulley (balancer) to zero down below, Check cam timing at each cam sprocket up top. Look for one of the cams to be a tooth or two off

There are marks on each cam sprocket at 12 o'clock position. And a mark on the lower timing cover for the crank

If everything looks good, then do a compression test

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
This is not a “HELP” kind of title thread. That’s reserved to people stranded in the wild. Do proper diagnostics before you start buying shit. Cheers!

And get ready to replace all of your injectors. That error code is quite specific.

My camshaft position sensor just arrived, I’m going to switch them out to see if that clears the random misfire.

That could be it, good luck. If it doesnt help check the compression, with low compression you wont have combustion.
