Thanks for reminding me of the Ford I saw on I25 the other day with the green handle from its transfer tank clattering along the pavement.

It must be the straight six bell housing that makes them pricier like Zane said. Those Trailblazers are pretty much throwaway, ride em til they die cars. My ex had one and dumped it for $3200 back in 2022 when used car values were crazy high.

this reminded me of the gas station hell story from after we met up with you.

hit the QT and theres a car at the diesel pump on the end. the entire place is pretty full up so its expected to have to chill for a few minutes and wait for a pump. we sit there and other people are lining up but theyre not fueling up or making any signs of moving. Ash hopped out to ask them to see if they needed help or would be willing to move and it was a teen girl scrolling tiktok. she instantly got pissed and kept saying “but i haven’t filled up yet!”.

i pull back out into the street and run down the block so i can drag the trailer into a different pump at a separate island… when i got out there was another guy with a trailer at that pump bitching to his family about the woman blocking the accessible diesel pump and refusing to move lol. guess she had been there for quite a while and he had to do the same runabout

only place i could find for a non insane price or shipping delay was carquest. gf had to drive several towns over to pick it up lol. little apprehensive but it came painted and its nice and smooth comparatively. 3 year warranty too. i hope that fixes her noise and mpg issue and there isnt another underlying issue… i really dont wanna dive further into the nightmare of a late model car

Today I read some official Microsoft documentation that included an entire section on using GitHub Copilot to generate cron expressions.

Maybe that's a fine use for AI, but I don't think it warranted the same amount of space given to the actual documentation of the cron syntax.

Cron isnt even that hard, especially with a tool like cron guru

I'd say cron complexity varies greatly with the complexity of the schedule you're trying to represent--but I'd also say that if I don't know how to represent the schedule myself I wouldn't feel good trusting an AI interpretation of whatever gibberish I'd use to describe it.

Yeah, exactly. Can’t check it unless you use another tool or run it and wait.

Nah, I just like to keep my finger on the pulse of the market, and I’m strangely addicted to the FOMO feeling when I see them sell.

I had this brand new Prius as a rental for a wedding in the Tetons. Spent $12 on fuel for the entire weekend which was nice. But yeah don't see myself buying a new car anytime soon.
