2013 PreRunner New OEM headlights and now no DRL

I just replaced the factory headlamps with new OEM Toyota replacements for my 2013 XtraCab PreRunner. Same part (well, updated part number actually) and everything works except now no DRLs. I know they share the bulb and fuse with the turn signal so it has me baffled. The new units have ".. HB2 DRL DO'T" imprinted in the lens at the bottom, just like the ones I removed.
Any thoughts? I'm stumped.

 

Do your front turn signals work?

 

Did the housings come with bulbs? The housing itself would have nothing to do with the drls not working.

 

yes, both turn signals and parking lights and headlights, high and low all work as expect

 

Then it would seem either you have an issue with the Turn Signal Flasher or it's not getting a DRL signal from the Body ECU.

DRLs won't turn on if the parking brake is set or the headlight switch is in the DRL off position.

 

I did not know that! Problem solved. I've been checking my work with the truck still in the garage and the parking brake set. All systems, including the DRLs, working as expected. Thanks Dm93
( that 3rd bolt behind the fender liner is a motha'!!)

 

Easy fix.

I only know that because mine is a manual and the DRLs don't turn on until I release the parking brake.
