I've made grilled cheese sandwiches and used two of them as the bun for a hamburger. Now I'm salivating at the thought of a burger between two pieces of leftover pizza.

Just a regular sourdough pizza dough recipe?

I take my discard, add a bit more water and pan fry it sometimes. It doesn't go to waste!

Used to do that in college.

We also used to have a conveyor belt pizza bar thing, so you could make your own pizza, send it through, and it would taste like hot cardboard. BUT they had cheese. So when they had curly fries in the difac AND it was pizza bar night (they alternated pizza and tacos, in Orono, so it was really "authentic"....) my roomate and I put a bunch of fries on a pizza dough, added cheese, and sent it through, since you couldn't put the plates through. People were watching us with LOOKS until it came out and we had melted cheese fries and walked away proud. The crusts were burnt to shit, but that was probably an improvement.

    Pretty basic sourdough bread recipe.

    350g water
    500g Flour
    15g salt

Stretch and fold twice 30 minutes apart.

For the starter i let the following sit for an hour before mixing with the above:
    28g (about 1 tablespoon) discard
    40g (about 4 tablespoons) flour
    30g (about 3 tablespoonz) water.

Basically 3/4 ratio of water to flower.

1/4 teaspoon of hooch for fun.
