Morning Pennsylvania

 

I was planning on riding my motorcycle to work for my first day at the new job. But they are also calling for server tstorms today. Also I really need to adjust the chain on my bike. Can't find my rear stand.

So far so good. Working with the owners son today. Atleast he's not a dick. Cool guy

 

First work day done. Got done a little earlier today working with the supervisor. He had to be back early for a meeting. I wasn't expecting to get a take home work truck for atleast 90days. Nope I'll have tomorrow. But I'd have to keep it at the office till I get rid of that raggedy honda.

 

That's sweet. That's a money saving benefit!

 

Now I cant find the damn title for the honda. And I just got off the with the scrape guy to come pick it up. Just my luck now the title is missing in action. Wtf

 

Glove box?

 

Found it. It was between two other titles I keep in a safe. Happened to over look it several times. So tomorrow sometime the honda will be gone while I'm at work. So no more eye sore.
Told the guy I don't even want money for come get it.

Who’s doing what this weekend ?

 

Contemplating an Iron Butt ride for the July 4th holiday. Working on some possible routes now. Need to ride over 1k miles in 24 hours. Need photos of your bike with a large American flag, your bike with some balloons, your bike with fireworks, and a selfie of you eating a hot dog. Extra challenge is a receipt from a town named Independence.

 

Chuck that could be like 17hrs + of riding in a day. Wow.

 

I've done 6 Saddlesore rides, 1 Bun Burner 1500 miles in 36 hours, and 2 of the Insanity Challenge rides so far. Lighthouse challenge where we visited and photographed over 60 lighthouses by motorcycle in under 12 months. Pressed penny challenge where we collected over 100 unique pressed pennies from 100 different locations scattered over at least 20 different states with 5 states being west of the Mississippi. Collected 124 pennies in 24 states in just 8 months.

Already this year I've put more miles on each of my Yamaha FJR1300s than I put on my Tacoma since last inspection in July of last year.

 

I've always said a motorcycle is like a pool, can't use it all year so use it all you can when you can.

The difference for me is I'm not allowed to ever own a motorcycle so...
