Well, it either happened right in front of my house, or in the 10 minutes I was inside the gas station off 91/302 (unlikely), but someone tried to steal my front plate. I noticed it the first time I saw the front of the truck after I got where I was going. They got one "anti-tamper" (one of those security Torx that are not actually) out and thankfully the molded rubber bush on the other side sleeve nut was detached so the nut spun with the head.

So 8mm stainless bolts, acorn nuts, and Loctite 271 ought to handle it until the cameras go up.

I don't know why the Aztek gets so much hate. Half of what Nissan makes is far worse

I had a Fiero. It was actually a fun little car

Who ever wrote that article needs to spend a day in Providence.

 I'll agree with everything. I actually want a fiero.

Someone said this and it resonated: Boston drivers drive like they're trying to kill you. Providence drivers drive like they're trying to kill themselves.

Providence: Where someone will stop and hold up 4 ways of traffic to let one person take a left turn who doesn't have the right of way, but will run a bicycle off the road because they don't think they should have the right of way.

I believe it! At least once a week I end up behind someone that will not exceed the speed limit, but will also not stop for any stop signs or red lights. It's like they pointed the car in a direction, set the cruise, and said fuck it.

Not too long ago, watched a black Tacoma floor it through a small, but very busy intersection. They caught air on the other side. Cross traffic doesn't have stop signs, and there's almost never a clear window to go straight through.

I get that often here. Stuck behind someone f o r e v e r doing 38 in a 50 on clear dry roads, and then 38 all the way through town when it's 25 without even so much as tapping the brakes. I hate to say it, but most frequently the drivers in question are elders.

Nah, we drive with a hard-wired sense of urgency at all times regardless of whether or not we're actually late

My man, I have never been stuck behind people in the left lane more than NY plates.

We must be exporting the olds to y'all, because I routinely get my doors blown off on the Northway doing 75-80

Do you not remember the trip to AOAA that one year where John's only comment was "the people in the slow lane are doing 60!"

I think it’s more of the folks from the city and its surrounding suburbs. I always find a NY plate car in the left lane going just over 65 when I’m on 495S going to the cape where it goes down to 2 lanes. Or on 6 on Cape.

Thank you for making that distinction, they're long islanders. They're not NYers, they're not really...anything

We don't discuss the cape between Memorial day and Labor day.
