Sorry, no photos but my first was a 1980 4x4 purchased in 1982 with about 36,000 miles on it that looked much like the beige truck in the photo above. Traded that in with about 250,000 miles on it for a 1994 SR5 4x4 in 1995. Traded the 1994 with 413,000 miles (Replaced the engine at 311,000) in 2020 for my current 2020 which has just under 57,000 miles.

Just last wee k I met a young man that recently sold his restored 81 4wd to factory trim for 30k. Turned that money into a 68 bronco project …

My first Toyota truck IS my current truck! 2016 SR with the Utility package. just under 44k on it when I got it about 3 months ago.
    20250506_181010.jpg

First truck ever was a '77 IH Scout, 4x4, 345. Sorry no pictures of it. It was a long time ago, before the turn of the century.

….alright I give. I thought I could come close with the clue but there appears to be more surf towns than California these days. I was there around the time you were there ….the picture looks hot and stickey so me thinks somewhere between Limon and Salsa.

We scored empty surf for about a week there before continuing south.
The trip lasted the better part of a year...B.C. (Before Children).
