Degrease em first and evaporust will take care of that for you, vinegar would too most likely.

Do you think it would harm the bearings in the anchor dies? I do have a press now if they need to be removed.

Is that the HF roller kit? Be perfect for that footrest we talked about.

A lot of guys prefer using vinegar for cheap rust removal.

Yup, we had a huge dust storm last night, and it’s still whipping around a little this morning. I went outside for like two minutes last night to see what all the fuss was about and my allergies exploded.

I only learned about using vinegar from all my CNC groups

It's crazy to think that a lot of these people are buying "new steel" and it's still rusted up to shit (even if sometimes it's just surface rust)

Humid climates get the worst of everything, even heavy mill scale can't protect from that forever

Yup, dude I bought the finger brake from through in this roller and a 10 ton porta power for $60!! He owns a fab shop and was liquidating his storage unit of stuff he doesn’t use anymore. Wish I could’ve done more damage in there but Amber would have killed me…

The foot rail was the first thing I thought of! Although the hexagon still sounds kind of fun too. I might try to make both and see which one I like better.

I would think those people would at least choose P&O - here it's P&O or cold rolled and even between the two the difference is crazy small

    16 gauge 4' x 8' in CR is about $5-7 more than P&O

But yeah even mill scale can't help those people - they'll post stuff they just bought that looks like it's been sitting outside for months :bananadead:

A lot of people mod them as they "suck" in stock form. Pretty sweet to see the cool shit made with those rollers though!

One YT channel has a guy that makes stairs/railings and he's got his roller dialed in real nice for some sick railings.

I’ve already been eyeing the swag kit, lol. That electric pipe threader or whatever looks real convenient compared to this big stupid wheel. Figure I gotta try it at least once or twice in stock form before I drop any more money on it though.

Got a link for that YT? Railings are one of the projects the nonprofit wants, and part of my justification for buying that bender…

Trader Joes as well. They retain employees for years and years which is pretty uncommon for the industry, but they offer good health and benefit packages. You can tell too cause every time we shop there the employees are always genuinely nice and cheerful

@Tour991 this can't be real can it...is it April 1st??

I guess we are going to the finals next year since every team this dude has joined since 2020 has gone to the finals (only to lose). The Corey Perry curse is upon us

I can't find confirmation anywhere else yet, but this IG page in particular usually only posts real news about the LAK so we'll see

I looked at the LA Kings website and on NHL trade/ free agent tracker. I don't see anything.
I do feel like it could be true though. I said this to a friend last week.

The dude running that LAK news page keeps saying it's real, just hasn't been officially announced yet so we'll see. It's fun to poke fun at him for the curse and all, but really it's just horrible luck on his part lol. LA does need some more gritty players and while he would not have been my first choice, at least he's proven he can still put up points too.

At least we didn't end up with Evander Kane lol.

I hear Kane got his ass jumped in Vancouver by some fans on the street.
It would be good to see Perry bookend his career with 2 Cups in SoCal. And yeah we could use the grit.
