Great fight card. Looking forward to it. My brothers and I get together every fight and watch them together. We rotate houses - this time it's at mine. This will be a great fight as we wait for the SuperFight to be announced: GSP v. Silva:cool:

I'm torn on this one. GSP is the champ and a humble one at that. This is rare in the sport. The man shows a lot of heart and love for the octagon. Most importantly, he's a bad ass. You cannot fuck with GSP.

Shields is a great fighter as well and I met him at an underground in San Francisco - really cool guy. Man personally told me that he was going after GSP and that was a just shy of a year ago. Giving him props for making that commitment. His UFC debut was not all that though. Unsure if the man is ready for a shot at the brass ring.

But, being that I'm a betting man - I have to pick GSP and I'm looking forward to taking my roommates money, again ...

Keep waiting, Silva is fighting Okami next.

    Superfight is pointless.

Might head down to see if scalpers are selling off tix towards the end of the night.

And rightfully so, Okami deserves his shot. Remember, he was the last man to defeat The Spider (via illegal upkick lol)

Jose Aldo is amazing. He brings a fresh feel to MMA like Jon Jones does.

GSP is a mainstay. I Just don't see him failing.

WHAT? why would you want GSP to lose?

    DAMN right!

    another true statement

great break-down & I agree 100% I'm a HUGE george and randy fan, this will be one hell of a night, I hope randy comes in 100% and does well against machida, I'd like to see randy get back up there again and it's always when people count him out the most when he comes back strong

BWW FTW! I'll also be going to my local BWW

AHAHAHAHA! I partied SO hard after that fight! I've never wanted ANYONE to lose as bad as I wanted lesnar to lose that night & EVERY other time he fought since he took the belt from my boy randy, lesnar is a cocky POS and I've never liked him

now THIS would be one hell of a fight, I'm confident GSP will beat shields so as long as silva wins his next fight, which he probably will, then I'm sure we'll see a GSP/silva match-up, when is silva's next fight? I wonder how long it would be before a GSP/silva fight.

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
I think just like the Koscheck(sp?) fight, the difference in this one is Freddie Roach and GSP's jab. I'm not a GSP fan, but his last fight was an amazing display of the most under used weapon in mma. Between the jab and his wrestling/TDD I think he can dry hump and jab his way to another decision.

For all of you waiting to see Randy get back to a title fight its not going to happen he already announced his retirement. Well unless he beats Lyoto and pulls a Brett Favre and unretires after the fight. He has already unretired once before under different circumstances. The man wanted to face Fedor one time before he called it a day. He retired for a year chasing that fight. M1-Global would not make it happen. Question is why Randy would announce his reitirement before this fight when finally UFC owns Strikeforce. My guess is he has looked at Fedor's contract which is with Showtime and not Strikeforce and saw no way of ever getting that fight to happen and said F it.

I am going with GSP, Aldo, Davis, Randy, Henderson all winning on the main card. Should be some tough close fights. I just hope something exciting happens. The best fight I have watched in a long time was between Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis last year in the WEC when Pettis went Matrix and came flying off the cage with a roundhouse kick to the face like he was Zohan.

I'm going more with Randy is old and making movies and probably porking Gina Carano having more to do with his retirement than anything else. And why wouldn't you announce it before hand if it really is your last fight? It's great hype to sell the fight. A living mma legend's final fight inside the octagon.

I have not really researched this but If randy is "porking" Gina than I might just give up all hope in humanity.

I HAVE NO CLUE WHO TO PICK!!??

    GSP is a legend
Shields is a local whos been training at a gym like 15 minutes from my house.

Im going to go with GSP just because I want to see him and silva fight.
