I finished the cargo tray I started over the weekend for the rear of the truck cab. Ever since I bought the truck it seemed like it was telling me to build one. I hadn't even seen a seat delete mod, but I knew I had to do it. Not having back seats to remove made it a lot simpler! And it gives me a handy spot to store my bag-O-tools and my stool. At 5'-7", I need a boost to get in the bed of the truck or reach deep under the hood. The stool might help our dog get in too.

It makes the space extremely useful with the pass through design came out great. I did very similar design can fit a good amount back there.

I tinted my headlights and decided to tint the emblem too. My truck is black, but I feel like the blacked out everything is extremely common, so I wanted to try something different. Since I was going to do polished wheels in the future, I went and I found some chrome Tacoma inserts for the tailgate, gonna try smoking those too with the same tint as lights and emblem. Got 2 kids under 4 so fuck knows when that will ever be but it’s on the list!!

so far, in order of quality for me, it goes: CD, iPod w/ RockBox and FLAC, stock-ish iPod with VBR files, phone w/ inline DAC to the 3.5mm jack, streaming over BT.
stock iPod is the preferred since it interfaces with the stock headunit really well.

    The list is growing.
    Ain’t that the truth.

I like the old school look of them also, but be careful as they may not be SRS/air bag compliant and can/will affect your/others in a wreck...

EDIT: I see in the picture that they look to be designed for SRS system... lol
Missed that the 1st go around...

Good to hear that. Can add to the third brake light and fog lights also. And perhaps to the dome light and dash.

You pull those allpros off to brush/paint? Mine look bad but I’m not positive that I am ambitious enough to pull them… My results from scraping and painting while still installed have been less than desirable though

Looks like I'm getting the Dobinsons MRR kit, what is a reasonable price for my Bilstein 5100's It's on the third perch and running a factory coil, 11k miles on everything. I can also move the perch for anyone as I have a coil compressor.

noooo, too heavy - I put a wire brush on my impact, wedge a piece of cardboard between them and my doors so metal flakes dont fly onto the paint while I shoot off any surface rust, and then I just brush on rustoleum enamel stuff

I put it off for a while because I thought it was going to be daunting - its relatively quick and easy, looks good enough, not too concerned because I have to do it every year or 2 anyway - really freshens everything up, post before and after!
