Possibly many folks (like myself) were waiting well into the 2nd year of production. I'm enjoying my '25.

I see they break out the Tacoma Hybrid separately, not sure if that's included in the 130,873 or if that's an additional 15K of hybrids that can be added in.

It’s included in the 130k. You can tell by looking at some of the other models. Prius for example.

130,873 is the 1H25 Total for All Tacomas. 21,508 units sold in June.

That's a lot of trucks. The urgency of tariffs might have helped for anyone who was thinking about waiting, I bet the numbers would be the same if nobody was thinking of tariffs. Production has most likely cought up to capacity and Toyota sells them as fast as they can build them. Limited production in 24 probably contributes to the success of 25 sales. I'd like to know how many Xtracabs Toyota has built since production of them began?

Anybody surprised by the results? I'm not.

Significant dip MoM for June Taco sales. Not typical, based on prior years. May was such a blowout number. Likely that planned purchases were moved up.

And they can do that because the market isn't saying otherwise.

    From the Press Release:

    • Lowest incentives among full-line manufacturers

I"m sure there's a multitude of reasons for the price increase. I think it's mostly due to the Tundra engine recall replacement campaign. The money has to come from some where.

year over year tacoma sales have been pretty steady since 2018. Still no real competition, sadly. What other mid-size truck can I consider that has a 6-ft bed option or has a a hybrid option (albeit with pathetic MPG)?

I felt as if the 2024 rollout was awful. That certainly played a large part in me waiting for the 25's. Even at that it took me nearly 10 months of searching and ending up out of state to find exactly what I wanted. Only have 140 miles on it and waiting for free time to install the mudguards and the chrome exhaust tip. Still running a temp. tag until they get my registration figured out. Then it need to be inspected here in Pa. This had been the hardest, most aggravating Tacoma purchase ever and I have had many. If anyone if considering an out of state purchase do your homework. It may be more headaches than you think.

The brakeline recall shows that the roll out was rushed. There's no way that the issue wasn't recognized before production began.

I'll ask here since I can't see the post that was quoted about the price increase that willvbe applied to current 25s and inbound 25 and 26s. There's no mention of 24s. I'm wondering if Toyota will add the price increase to the 2024s that currently have a stop sale for the brake line recall?
