They were around up until 99 I believe but not very common. Probably more likely to find one now than an S-runner though

@Tour991 I don't usually put a lot of stock in the ragebait and sensationalist accounts but literally everyone is saying the Kings made the worst trade deals/signings this offseason, lol. Hopefully we aren't in for a dumpster fire of a season come October.

A lot of podcasts are saying the same thing. It looks like we are acquiring the oilers roster 1 player at a time.

Yeah a lot of folks saying this is typical Ken Holland stuff too which makes me nervous. Blake is probably sitting in his recliner at home laughing at it all after getting let go a few months ago.

Yeah he is probably enjoying the hell out of retirement.
If the team takes a step back during the regular season but does better in the playoffs, it'll definitely be worth it.

Yep. Pre-VVTi. I have a good 2UZ (with slightly less miles) as a spare should something be wrong. The engine was at low RPM when it went. I know a bunch of 100 owners with broken timing belts that survived.

I think I was paying $10 or so for a tallboy (pint) to drink the terminal. It would probably cost half that at a local bar but all things considered not out of line for a craft beer at an airport. I've never bought a 12-pack there but if the pic in that Insta reel is legit, $27.99 in the airport vs $15-$20 at a regular grocery/liquor/convenience store.

    Some bonus trivia from Wikipedia...

They're still independently owned, and since 2003 have only sold their beer in Wisconsin as a way to manage production volume (and the artificial scarcity doesn't hurt when marketing to out-of-state visitors either). Despite only selling in Wisconsin, they're the #15 craft brewer and #25 overall brewer in the US by sales volume.

It's a good one, the mango makes it taste a little bit like an IPA to me

The Lakers haven’t done much either. They only made one signing for Ayton, and that was kinda underwhelming.

Not long ago, I went to a classic car show and swap meet. I was hot and I was thirsty. So there was a lemonade and hot dog vendor. The lemonade looked fresh-squeezed in a big glass jug with cut lemons.

I ordered a large lemonade and a hot dog (it was small). $20. The lemonade turned out to be CountryTime powder for $15. That display was fake. I host events with vendors and subsidize food and drinks.

But damn that was a rip.

The farmer's market in my neighborhood feels like that. Way too many people for the local growers to support, so most of the stuff there is actually commercially grown. Lots of it has PLU stickers and looks like it might have been bought at a wholesaler to re-sell.

I'm sure some of the watermelon and pecan sales trucks on the roadside do that. Some guy who lives in town near me has something like that going. All cash, though.
