Good morning. I'm waiting for the tech from the plumbing company I hired top come and make things right. I have a feeling I'm going to have to fight, figuratively speaking, to get things made right.

Wow, why can't they just do what they got paid to do. Simple. Or are they trying for "extras" ?

Extras. But i was able to set things right, not without some strong push back.

They removed the tree, and power was finally restored minutes after I took these pics…

Wife is one of the two reasons..but the chief is my mother. I wanted to be Evel Knievel as a kid and she told me then and many times after "as long as I live, I'm your mother and you will not have one".

I think if I cared enough I could wear the wife down but I know she'd threaten to tell my mom..

I do agree one bike is not going to cut it, so I have about a dozen..My latest I grabbed a year ago

Back in 2002 I hit a deer with The Buell shown in my avatar. I had on proper gear and was lucky. Lots of bruises to my hips and legs, very slight road rash that was actually more of a burn from my leather jacket against my forearm. Mom said "I guess now you quit riding those damned things" Nope.

Fast forward a few more years and mom was stir frying some asparagus in her kitchen and without noticing a piece fell out and onto the floor. Mom went to turn around and slipped on the fallen spear of asparagus. Broken hip required surgery and time in rehab. Visiting her in the rehab I asked, "SO, I guess now you'll quit eating asparagus?" My then 80 year old mother told me "If you're going to be an asshole you can just leave now." :poking:

    True story.

    Afternoon/evening :hattip:

Been driving the WRX to work here and there and while it's not rated well for its economy, I've been doing quite well.

    Middle is trip MPG.

It's not '25 Camry MPG's like @hyrule_trd's, but not bad. I've put like 200+ miles on it and it still has almost 1/2 a tank o_O

Still pretty damn good mpgs! I was driving mine like a sports car today and surprised I was still just under 50mpg from bel air to blue bell, PA.

I do miss driving my truck daily but it’s ok.

I don't even wanna know what mine will do if I actually do drive it like a sports car. :anonymous: On a normal drive I'm just short shifting it due to the torque range. It is weird now I'll get in the Tacoma and reach for the missing clutch pedal

I sometimes miss a clutch… then I’d get stuck in traffic and remember the only downside lol

I've driven Philly traffic in an automatic and hated it, I wouldn't even attempt it in a stick.

I was issued a little 1st gen Transit Connect as a service van and with it being constantly overloaded it sucked merging onto 95 or 276. Going up and over the mountains here it was even worse
