Good morning everybody! I’m in Arkansas now heading home not to step on anyone’s toes but Colorado is nicer. Or should I say more scenic.

A milestone. Back to where I was early in the sailing season last year. She’s fully rigged, on the ball, and ready to sail.

Bout an hour from me. Might have to get the kayak out next week! this is page 14413 so still 24 pages to catch up!
@Marty65 we crossed paths somewhere along the way! My last night on the trail was in Salida(6/26) and then booked it to Salt Lake to see the grandson.

The wedding in the snow on top of Whitefish Ski Resort on the 21st made national news! Saw that when I was catching up on the world. No snow in Kalispell and not sure what the snow level was up here but I saw the Winter Storm Warnings and was wishing I was in MT instead of 104 in North Carolina and Arkansas and 101 in Utah. Just nowhere to hide on the bike and needed to make miles. LOTS of gatorade and Liquid IV.

My wife ran into 2 guys broadcasting from Cyclone Fire Lookout in NW Montana that weekend. I thought about you guys and wondered if there was an event going on. Think they would have hiked in about 2 miles if I remember correctly.

Thanks. It was quite a bit of work and money. I never want to go through that again!

They could have been doing the Field Day or since they were on a mountaintop it could have been a Summits on the Air (SOTA). That’s another thing us radio nerds do, well not me, I don’t have any mountains close by lol.

I left salida 6/24 I was in basalt on 6/26 but I wish I had stayed longer in salida and less time in basalt. There’s more my kind of activities in salida basalt and aspen are a little fancy for my taste.
