Picked up…

 

Recently ordered a Johnny Lightning 1985 Toyota SR5 Pickup (Weathered) and a Johnny Lightning 1979 IH Scout II with utility trailer from Auto World Store.

 

Today was something else… very different places and managed to pick up some good ones.
Target had Car Culture 50% off and Showroom 15% off.

I wonder why they released not numbered boulevards that were the same as the numbered boulevards. That skyline is awesome

 

They had several, I probably should have picked up another to offer up. I saw those two and was all in for my collection.

 

That no number boulevard set came out late last year, the only thing I could think of is maybe they are the runts of the series litter? Still nice though, I grabbed the same ones when I saw them last year

 

Too bad the square body GMC has all the adverts

 

I didnt buy one either when I found them because i’m NOT a fan of penzoil

sick ass casting though!

 

They are repops to make more money

Also this one is a bit of a doozy. Not everyone may know but I was in a really bad accident back in February. My most prized material possession ever (my blue tacoma) gave up her life to save myself and the future wife. Alec took it upon herself to build me a custom memento to encapsulate Old blue as she was in her glory.







She bought this super obscure 2nd gen access cab casting from another country:





Stripped the red paint off it. Took off the original base and wheels, painted the tan interior grey. Painted the body blue. Had a custom LIFTED base 3D printed. 3D printed bed cover. Custom hitch to replicate the B&W. Custom antenna. And hand painted details.













She pretty well nailed it. Time to shop for a proper ring for this girl

There’s a new purple gmc no advertisements gmc square body out there. I saw 1 but the container was messed up

1973 Matchbox SuperKings Mod Tractor and Trailer (toyota for scale)

 

I liked the casting enough to get it and see if decal or alternative paint, so cleaned. Maybe a repaint?
