The only downside to the Unimog is you can’t do the trails at Tigerton with it.

It’s not all that great of a daily either.

Other than shipping to torfab, see if there is a local mobile mechanic to check it out.
A fueling issue should be easy to find & save alot of B.S.

As I was saying about being unable to keep my hands off, I swapped the tie rods with the new ones and I'll keep the old passenger side for a spare.

    The driver side was shot.

I’d say that would be worth an honest try if logistics allow, might get lucky and find a local expert.

As soon as you do something like that, Torfab won't claim responsibility. (?)

It would be alot cheaper for torfab to pay local than shipping all the way to Wash.

Couple pictures from this weekend's getaway.

    Campsite is nice enough.

Got the kayak out this morning in the Yellow River. It's beautiful out there! One could easily get lost in these backwaters.

And, some treats I found at the gas station while buying night-crawlers this morning. Feels like a TW event now. :D

I did have good fortune to find a cruiser specialty shop in Bozeman that Torfab is familiar with - the owner is great and helping me out

That sounds like a personal question. Not that I’m judging.

ETA: 3 hours ago he was headed for the Magruder, whatever that is.

You're lucky that their 2 post lift can lift up that heavy girl!

Hope they get you sorted out.
