is there a better or quicker way to do this? i have not figured it out...

i don't turn my truck off when filling it because who gives a shit, it's gonna turn off in 30 seconds anyway...

i start filling the truck up and hop back in to...

dismiss the TRUCK WILL TURN OFF IN 1 HOUR YES/NO? popup
dismiss the READY FOR REFUELING popup
move to dash preset 2 to get to one with trip b (preset 1 has boost and battery)
hold OK to go into settings, hit right to get to trip b and hold OK to reset

i figured i must be missing something.

That's how I reset it. Also reset the MPG gauge at the same time.

OR hybrid 4x4 about 2600 miles now with bed cover and air dam with 60/40 city/hi-way on normal setting 89 fuel
    getting about 20.5 mpg
An semi- extended trip on highway was 22mpg
Fairly certain if it was a long freeway trip I could get 23 mpg
    33 ft/lbs tires

Based on this thread, ill never waste money in the hybrid. First its an automatic. Second it costs too much.

My 2024 trd off road manual transmission gets 20 mpg easily on a 23 mile one way commute with 15 miles highway and 8 miles of back roads. I usually average 21.5 driving to work its the short trips in between that bring it lower.

22.7 mpg on my last three fill ups driving rural city roads. 148 more lb-ft torque plus two more gears that shift faster and smoother. I'd never buy a non-hybrid manual, that's false economy.

Total waste of money for the hybrid .I get 25 mpg on my 24 TRD OR Premium, not worth 6k-7k difference for the hybrid

Not amazing but 75+ (I surmise), slight uphill grade, and probably against a modest SW wind.

Where are you getting that figure? Toyota.com says $3260 difference on OR with Premium.

And the point of the hybrid is power/torque when you need it rather than fuel efficiency. It seems to be a substitute for a larger displacement engine option such as Ford Ranger’s 2.7L motor

Ouch, that’s inflated a bunch over the exchange rate.

More Ignorant comments here. Toyota didn’t offer hybrids to us for the sole purpose of fuel economy. Toyota charges a premium for that 326 horses and 465 tq. Also who the F buys a truck and worries about mpg. My mind is blown.

Toyota put those chin spoilers on to appease the EPA maybe they care about mpg, I know I don't. I'd also look into the Tundra, or Ranger for more horse power and torque for anyone shopping trucks. If you want a Tacoma and you want more performance Tacoma iForcemax is your option.
