I did my first oil change at 1000 miles yesterday and had the same experience(using the same catch pan)..... made an absolute mess.... lol. It was so bad I removed the front passenger wheel in order to do a thorough clean up.

Ah yes, and there seems to be no concern with it hanging low on the 4th gen. Thanks for the reminder. I'll do add one at 5k.

The F133N seems to be the desired one:

Go Fumoto, you won't regret it...

Hmm, same price as Fumoto valve and will save the mess on the next oil change. I have saved this item in my Amazon cart and will ponder on this..... I have a little time. :)

I use this one, the drain tube makes sure the oil goes exactly where you want it...no mess, no fuss.

    Clazzio seat covers,
Dang, I have nothing to add to this as I receive oil changes for life from Checkered Flag in Virginia Beach.

been using that for over 10 years with little issue, had similar mess like that way back, then I make a funnel from the 1qt bottle oil and funnel the oil down the pan, Last month I did my break in oil change at 1500 mile and install the fumoto, will do another oil n filter change at about 5k, I also will probably not gonna use the 2 free oil service, oil filter and oil is cheap, cost me less than 50 to do it myself, much easier on the taco than any of my past cars and way faster now that the fumoto is installed

I've had Fumotos, but in the dead of winter, the Karens around here won't do oil changes. Plus, I'm trying to get as much out as fast as I can and Fumotos are slower drains

The speed of draining warm 0-20 is a problem?

$30 for a bucket, no thanks. Just get a $10 or less rubbermade bucket or even a wash bucket. Good grief!

I just bought a 2025 and did an oil change at 470 miles. There are small metal particles I try to keep in suspension by draining the oil as fast as possible before they settle in the bottom of the pan. A well used engine speed wouldn’t be an issue with a Fumoto Valve

relax and grab a bear, good thing is your hands not dirty, no jacking up vehicle, just taking off the shield and open the fill cap and few minutes later your gold . Still better than waisting time driving to shop and wait for them to do it for you.
