I put out a temporary "feeler" ad back in April just to determine if people desire these for the 4th gen. Each week momentum seems to gain a little so now I have made this official ad.
*I AM THE ONLY ONE MAKING REAR SPACERS FOR THE 4TH GEN TACOMA*
These are NOT front bracket jackers. These lift and level the seats by lifting the rear of the seat only. Many people have bought these for 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma and FJ Cruiser front seats. With over 7500 sales with 99% positive feedback there is, for some, a need to relieve the lower back stress associated with the seats. Prices are 1 seat/2 seats.
These are NOT like the cheaply made 2nd/3rd gen $50/$89 washer stack rear jacker spacers. These are custom made to fit the 4th gen bracket shape, fully machined and polished, with a pocket for the seat bracket to rest in and are $37/$64. The 2nd/3rd gen rear jackers can easily be made by a 1st year apprentice. Mine are made by a lifelong professional machinist. I also provide illustrated instructions, grade 10.9 flange bolts and FREE USPS Priority box insured 3 day shipping. My grade 6061 spacers are polished with a finish acceptable for painting. I take pride in my work thus I do not have blemishes to hide with paint.
I provide a 30 day return-for-refund guarantee. If they do not make you more comfortable then please return them.
I make a limited amount monthly and most are pre-sold before they are made. If interested then pm me to reserve them. Next expected delivery is early August.
Pictures are from actual customers. Some choose to paint them black while others use them as finished.

Thanks. I am actually in the hospital e.r. with my Dad again. Transferring to another hospital with better heart care any minute. He is quite a fighter. I did get a good start on spacers this morning before the call.

Good, glad to hear that. Spacers can wait, family comes first.

Would these help with how a carseat sits in the back seat?

I wouldn't use them for that myself as these must be bolted down to be safe. That seems to be trouble for many with double cab Tacoma trucks. I think I would try something as a cushion that would be tethered down with car seat straps/seat belts. Perhaps something as simple as cutting sections out of a pool noodle, cut a slit along the length and wrap them under the front or rear of the car seat frame. It will not provide very much lift however it might put the seat at a safer, more comfortable, angle for your kid. Honestly I always drove full size extended cabs when mine were little 25-35 years ago because they provided the extra seating area. I can already hear readers screaming "BUY A TUNDRA" which isn't a bad idea either.

Everyone told me to get a Tundra, but it wasn't in the financial cards. I only have one kid right now, so it's no biggie. The angle of the back seat just puts her car seat in a weird position that I'll have to work on. Appreciate the feedback on the pool noodle, I may have to try that.

Search around, or ask other Taco Dads, for a car seat recommendation. I see similar complaints all the time. If I was in your shoes I wouldn't hesitate to buy a better fitting car seat. Better than selling a great truck. I had a couple of regular cabs too. Every time a kid needed to be picked up I had to run home and swap cars. Got to the point I just needed a back seat. I ended up with a new F150 ext cab and still kept the Taco for a while. Could always remove the front passenger seat to give the baby more room. Your wife would certainly appreciate that the baby takes priority.

For those that have been so patiently waiting I have now resumed making the spacers. I had a terrible 6 week period with my Dad, with multiple emergency room visits, a hospital stay, attempts at skilled care rehab, and one final hospital/hospice stay. I now am able to resume normal activities and am working to fill the reserved orders for both Honda and Toyota vehicles. I appreciate your patience and will contact you directly within ~10 days. Thank you.

Trust me brother, you have no need to apologize. You had bigger fish to fry than what is ultimately a "want" for our vehicles. Hopefully things will be more manageable for you now, regardless.

Now only 1 pair remaining. I have not received any bad feedback or complaints. The 1st test guy mounted his upside down however everyone else mounted them as per the instructions. I have raw material to make more in the coming months. Just prefer to have as much feedback as possible before committing to making a large quantity. I am on the fence about closing shop at the end of 2025 just because it cuts into my retired life.
