Funny thing after I left active duty. I had dreams where my chute would always malfunction. But it was always water jumps so I would land in water safely. I didn’t tell my tandem instructor anything about have parachute training. On the way up he asked me. “Are you sure you’ve never jumped before cause you are pretty calm.” I lied and said no. When we landed I told him I lied. I just needed to slay the dragon in my head with those dreams. He said I knew something was up. Cause I didn’t ask any questions and I handed all the tricks he did once the chute deployed.

I'm moving over to Dobinson MRR, if anyone is interested in my Bilstein 5100 set, 11k miles on it. 95% on the road.

Factory coil from my '21 TRD Off-road, set at the 3rd perch (leveled the truck)

I can move the perch for you, disassemble it etc. $250?

Guess I should introduce myself. I'm Bill. We moved to Myrtle Beach last August from northern VA (nova forum), specifically the Shenandoah Valley. I'm 64 and retired from 47 years as an autobody frame & suspension tech. Spending a lot of my time now golfing and fishing. My '14 Tacoma 4x4 sport that I bought new, now has 191k on it. I really miss wheeling it in the mountains back home with the nova tw gang. Been lurking here in the SC thread for a few months. Love those redfish pics guys!

How are the Toyota dealerships to deal with in the Charleston area, as far as buying a used truck? There is a couple trucks I'm interested in, 1 is at Hendrick and the other is at Fred Anderson I think.

I liked Fred Anderson better as far as service goes. When I blew the rack on my '21 they gave a no frills diagnosis so I was able to do the work myself. Hendrick was a pain in the ass to deal with. Least the service advisor i delt with was. Complete dickheads when I didn't wanna give them $1,900 to replace the rack after the diagnostic. I didn't trust their word after and had Fred Anderson check to make sure it was just the rack and not a steering shaft or something.

So from that experience I'd suggest Fred Anderson but it's always a crap shoot man, the sales employees sometimes know more than just the price sometimes they don't, same with the service advisors, sometimes they know what a torque wrench is, sometimes they don't.

Find the most affordable price on what you want and sit through their bullshit to save some cash, you'll never know what the technicians in the back will do because it's closed to the customers. Another reason I do all my own maintenance and repairs.

I used Fred Anderson to buy my tundra and they were fine. I then entertained a trade through them to go to a 4x4 tundra and they worked with me more than I expected them to. They’re a dealership just like any other though and I’m sure it’s salesperson dependent. Never had any trouble getting in for the warranty services and their free oil changes. I’d use them again if needed.

Hendricks (Chevy) gave me some lot lizard vibes for some reason. And we’re glad we didn’t end up buying a suburban through them.

Appreciate it. The truck I'm most interested in, I at Fred Anderson. It's on their website, but the truck itself says Fred Anderson honda, so I'm not 100% sure which location it is. I'm on vacation at Ocean Lakes right now, if its Fred Anderson Honda, it will probably be gone before I get home.

I had a 2019. You’ll love it. I miss that truck. It was a beast. Turn on tow/haul and hold down the traction control button until the granny lights come on. It’ll be a fun little drive. Good luck, hope you get it!
