Man, props for your determination and ingenuity! Does make me glad I went the JaketheGardenSnake tape route though!

Sorry, man! I posted that I used that method awhile back and figured you'd decided to go the "goop" route. I have plenty of it left-over if you want to stop by... :D

Can confirm a CT125 fits in a 3rd gen long bed if you cut off the lower part of the fender!

lol, I prolly saw it and didn't register. Amazon can have it here in a week. They seem proud of it.
My Google Fu incorporated the wrong key words, using Versys X 300 took me to what those guys had been doing. Several video's from guys doing it this way as well with various "glues". Some mentioned the tape coming loose at higher speeds. Could have just been from poor prep though.
On the bright side, if I had gone thru with the 7 day stuff that I ordered, I would be right peeved off if it had leaked. So just lost a day so far.

Can't go wrong with any of his vids! Always entertaining and usually informative.

It is thick stuff so I was a bit shocked when I took the tire off just a month later to put it on the correct direction. The tape looked/felt like it had been shrink-wrapped to the inside and I can't imagine how it could come loose. Of course, my top speed with a +2 rear sprocket is about 80-85 and I rarely get her going that fast...

I loved his CRF vids. I never even looked for his other stuff. I watched a few of the CFMoto and whatever sumo bike he bought. Sherco?

With ALL my tubeless motorcycle tires I use ride-on tire balancer\sealer. Works great IMO

Does this react with the sealant used for this tubeless conversion?

Ya I got a shop to "true" my wheels and forgot to ask them to balance them, was so pissed off when I went to ride it and it shook at high speeds.

At least the low speed was fixed. I have balance beads but they arent perfect.

No , it flings and sticks to the inside of the tire. It’s like a slime and the 3M sealant I used used to seal boats. Water proof.

    keeping jersey dirty
Is the bike straight on? Way more room if you tuck the front wheel into the corner of the bed

    Front is holding air.
For balancing, had to spin the tire on the wheel, the heavy spot was not the valve stem.
Being cheap tires, I did not expect them to be balanced, The rear is taking a shit ton of weight, might have to spin that one too, and it has the nice tight bead.

1 ounce (27g) to balance the front, doesn't seem bad. I feel this one is the most important.
2.6 ounces 74g) for the rear. That seems heavy, I'll break the bead, again, and spin the tire on the wheel to see if I can get it better.
Spoke weights are ugly. There were none from the factory, but I have no idea if they were balanced or not.
The important thing is they are currently holding pressure. :D
    I'll sleep well tonight.

Edit: interweb says up to 3 oz is considered normal for the rear and 1-2oz for the front, and some guys are hitting the 7oz mark and are fine with it.
So I'm good with it. They're just ugly.
