    Yeah, CD players were expensive back then...late 80s.

    I joined the USAF in 1986/lived in the dorms at my 1st assignment...bought my single CD player at Base Exchange (BX).

    CDs were expensive too...so I would be very selective and also buy them one-at-a-time! lol

    Ok, so l'm drummer with a Rock band, we are playing at a Fraternity Mixer party - I'm singing the lead part to a Eagles song, and I look over to see the bass player who has stopped playing - He's laughing and he snapped this pic ...
    what made it so funny was, she was singing right along with me, and the lyrics at that point and time was: Somebody's gonna hurt someone before the night is through - Somebody's gonna come undone, There's nothin' we can do.

    Everybody wants to touch someone, if it takes all night…

    Now I've been playing in bands since probably 1974 - learned to sing with a sore throat, when the cottonwood is blooming and when the goldenrod is blooming ... but it's -REALLY- hard to sing when you're laughing .... and not just me .... the WHOLE band …
