Hey y’all, I just got my Dometic CFX5 55IM set up in my truck. However the app doesn’t show the history. I’ve read in a few places since Dometic updated the app. It doesn’t show the history anymore for any coolers. Customer service is not very helpful either.

I’m just curious if anyone’s out there using the CFX5 coolers and the history status shows up in the app. And if not, what did you do to get it working?

I've got the CFX3 55IM and I don't use the app anymore really. In fact I had to reconnect the new app to my cooler.

History still shows up for Hour, Day, or Week. But I have the 3, not the 5. I've pretty much set and forget mine.

I honestly hate using the Dometic app. I really wish that there was just a wired solution so I could (A) verify it was running and (B) check the temp from the driver's seat without having to fiddle around with my phone. (Ditto for my Ecoflow.)

Hi! How did you get your display back? I’m still stuck on the QR code myself.

Same here. I’ve tried scanning both the we code under the lid and the we code on display and neither work. I also did what the pdf document that dometic provided in this thread and it didn’t help, sucks to have this issue with a 1100 dollar unit in the cfx75 dz.

I think I’m stuck in a single zone now as well. As my freezer no longer works.

Isn't Camping World an authorized repair center?

I would doubt that, more likely they might be an authorized "transfer" center to Dometic. The local Camping World went out of business so I can't ask.

The Dometic chat support told me the 619 config app is no longer supported. They provided a button sequence to push for a factory reset but that didn't work. The pdf that someone else posted says if you don't turn on wifi/bluetooth before entering config mode, the QR code will freeze on the display.

Do not understand the "619 config app" statement. My phone (iPhone) app for Dometic is currently at version 2.0.30.

I reached out to the chat support because I had the same problem as @TacoMi on 6/18/24 where the display would only show a QR code. @Dometic 's response on 6/19/24 was pdf instructions that said to use the 619 config app. I tried and, like others, got nowhere. It kept returning an error "Scanning Connection failed! Please check your connection and try again." It didn't matter whether I scanned the QR code on the display, under the lid, or under the cooler. Dometic support said "The 619 config App should no longer be used. You should be using the Dometic Mobile Cooling App."
