Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
When the outside temperature reaches 101F and above, and during certain sun angle conditions, the collision avoidance unavailable warning light turns on.

If the temperature cools down, or the sun angle changes, it'll turn off.

The image looks kind of like this, but there are arrows in place of a star. upload_2025-7-6_13-13-30.png

Is this normal? Do I need to clean the Toyota grille badge? Or do I need to get it looked at.

    Cleaning it won't hurt.
Mine will go off sometime when its foggy in the morning and a few times when its nice out 70-75. No idea why.
If your under warranty you can take it in,but most likely they won't be able to recreate the issue.

I too live in Phoenix and have had similar issues, but I never attributed it to heat or light since the device works on radio waves.

Mine have all been caused by dust and bugs. I carry "Dude Wipes" in the truck as an all purpose cleaner that is body safe if I need it. One wipe across the Toyota Badge and the collision warning and adaptive cruise control comes right back on line after I reboot the truck.

Buddy. You need to get some wipes just for the truck, like armor all wipes. Can’t be wiping down your truck with glorified baby wipes, I mean obviously they are formulated for big babies. But they are only really good for tacos when you’ve applied too much hot sauce.

if they're safe on skin, they're safe on plastic.

    Exactly.....
I'll wipe my dash with a Dude wipe but I won't wipe my arms and face (or my asshole) with a Clorox / Armorall Wipe.

And… Clorox wipes are my newest secret weapon. Wipe your shit down, well not exactly, but your things, and yellow jackets leave you alone.
Ftr, I carry baby wipes, Clorox wipes, armor all wipes, witch hazel wipes (for poison oak), soothing wipes and another set of cleansing wipes. I’m just not gonna buy another wipe. But now I’m curious, is it the marketing of the dude wipes, or is it the fragrance. Do they smell like dudes? I only have the baby wipes because I had a Costco sized case, and my youngest doesn’t need em anymore.
