New to the forum, just bought a 2025 Tacoma TRD Sport came with Goodyear 265/65R18 Wrangler Duratrac tires. On the tires it says... Max Pressure 50 psi. Dealership set to 36 psi. Would appreciate recommendations for their prefered psi to run, for 95% of the time city/highway driving - Thanks ! 2025tacoma.jpg

Welcome and congrats. Check the tire pressure placard located on the door jamb.

Whatever the sticker on the inside of the driver's door jamb says.

The door jam says 32 , but the window sticker said All-Terrain Tire upgrade $995 and all the other TRD Sport Tacomas on the dealers lot had conventional tires (not all terrain), so I was wondering being they set them to 36 psi, if I could get some input here from members that might be running the same...

I ran them with 36 on my Jeep Wrangler, but that was the pressure listed on the door jam.

There is a load rating stamped on the tires. To carry that load you need 50 PSI. You'll never need 50 PSI, the tires are rated for WAY more than the truck is rated for. You'll get the best ride when unloaded at around 30 PSI . Somewhere around 35 PSI is a good compromise for when you're unloaded and you don't need to air up when carrying any load the Tacoma will handle.

Set it to sticker on the door jam and adjust higher if needed for heavy loading. Sometimes you may need to lower it to compensate for heavy snow or mud such as when off-roading.

The 36 psi is probably just what the dealer inflates everything to. My truck with stock tires is supposed to be 30 psi, comes back from service at the dealer - 36psi. I change it.
If the upgraded tires are LT rather than SL they may need higher air pressure.

There's a calculator here to help: Put in the stock tire size and rating from the door decal as the OEM tire.
Then put the actual tire size and rating in as the new tire. The "P" or "LT" designation is important.

Stock tires are 265/65R18 SL 114 @ 32 psi, your new tires are 265/65R18 XL 116. Air them up to 35 psi for equivalent load.

went thru 2 sets of duatracs on 2011.
waiting on my 2025 sr5 to arrive at dealer to go straight to tire place to
get duratracs installed. Be sure to rotate duratracs regularly for even wear.
