I scored a set of 4 C5 Corvette Z06 18x10.5” rear wheels for free from a coworker. Has anyone installed these on a tacoma before? I know the bolt pattern and hub bore are different and it requires adapters. Curious what fitment might be.

IMO you are going to run into more issues than it’s worth.

Would look cool if you can make them work. Check the offset and compare that with whatever thickness the adapters would be that you would have to run

Okay, unearthed my wheel fitment tool from storage since I had some time after work last night. I think it's doable with some purse action and a good alignment.

It’s the bore that will be the issue
    It’s really large 67 IIRC

only a few manufacturers have that large of a bore

seen milling/dremmeling out the bore to make fit over the 67 hub though

I believe Enkei originally made them for GM. These look like knock offs, because they don't have the GM stamp.

The bore of the corvette wheels are 70.3mm. They are a different bolt pattern, so I have to get adapters, but I can get some custom ones that will fix everything in one shot.

After looking back over my wheels, it appears you may be correct. I’m not beat up about it though.

I was wrong. Speedline and Alcoa made the c5 z06 wheels, not Eneki.

Well… I finally got around to cleaning up the barrels of the wheels. It would appear they’re genuine GM speedline wheels.

There is no try, only do. I'll cut the cab corners out of the truck and pull the bedsides 3 inches per side if I have to.

Are you going to run 278 or 285 wide tires on those rims?

I’ll probably start on 275s for now. I do see 305s as an option for the future.according to the forums I’ve read, that seems to be the limit of what you can fit on these wheels.

I’m working on it. Slow process. I just got done tackling all the brakes. Just have to build the fuel system, finish the cooling system, build the body harness, get a driveshaft made, and make an exhaust/turbo piping, then top up the fluids and go. Oh, and a seat or two. That’s kinda important.
