Just spent the most money to date on my Tacoma (besides when I bought the truck.)

Ordered Backwoods Adventure high clearance bumpers front and back, Wildtop topper, Prinsu racks, and OVS 270 Nomadic awning.

Those goodies plus the new Bilsteins put me close to $10,000 this year, the last thing I have is an exhaust reroute and transfer skid plate then my Tacoma will be 100% done.

Edit: I forgot eventually I want lockers so after that my Tacoma is finished

    Lol.
Besides long travel all the mods I want will be done. From now on it should just be fixing/replacing parts that break/wear out.

Long travel is a massive money pit so I don't think I'll venture down that route.

Thanks I got tired of seeing the trd pro grill on every 3rd gen. I wanted something different.
I'm still debating if I should save up and do bilstein 5200 with 2inch lift or get the morimoto 2banger ditch lights. Why morimoto i saw that they out shine the baja S2 and i like the low profile look. Plus truck just has 14441 miles on so I dont know if I should wait till my shocks go out

sorry to hear that...My experience, not many drive under 80 mph in SoCal when things aren't gridlocked.

Yeah, pull the passenger pillar...two 10mm bolts behind the covers. Run it down the pillar, remove the kick panel and sill overrun it in the channel, I used a fish to go under the B pillar panel, then ran it up the C pillar by pulling back the rubber moulding then tucked it along the top of the back window using a panel tool to lightly pull down while tucking. That used up most of the extra length of the wire. It was pretty easy actually. To be fair I did car audio install years ago.

    This and that
I was against them forever, have enough lights already, for some odd reason I got more. I have a couple sets (like 5/6) of the Baja designs s1 and put the factory amber lens in there. So I used one of those sets for ditch lights. It’s really nice on twisty trails at night. I seem to keep rolling into a spot to camp late at night, in the middle of the week.

Well......I just started looking at the speaker bundles now damnit!!!!

Today was the 1st time I was out and about where I had the opportunity to really crank it up with the new amp/sub installed. It was actually pretty damn loud, and clear! I'm actually afraid these stocker speakers aren't going to last with this kind of power running through them.

TrailGridPro, Kickers or Alpines, those are the two packages I'm eyeballing now. I had Kickers in my 4Runner with a Kenwood Echelon DDX9906XR head unit, no amp, and they were descent. But I wonder how the Alpines would sound with my current setup.

Any 1st hand experience with the Alpines?

I don’t think brands matter so much, personally. Like anything is better than stock. But you should ask @soundman98 think he’s installed a few speakers.

I rough cut it with a plasma cutter then cleaned it up with a flap wheel. I also found aftermarket ones overpriced, hence doing it myself.

Post in the North Carolina regional thread ... some TW metalworker might have enough working stock to charge you just for the necessary size and give you a TW-discount on labor.
