Got this 4-pack on Amazon. I’ve had them locally before (Ralphs, Albertson), except the green one. Tried that first and it is flavorful but not very hot. The others are habanero and flavorful. The black label is extra hot. Among my fav hot sauces, next to Marie Sharps. Made by Bryan Holland, lead singer of Offspring; he has a PhD in molecular biology.

Just loaded up on habanero, serrano and jalapeno plants. Hope I find something hotter this year. The Thai's I did last year were teeny so I didn't buy any this year.

I can tolerate heat but I generally go for taste. I do like the taste of Habeneros, especially in pasta dishes, and have tried some habenero based hot sauces that were so-so. These days, I've narrowed down my commercial sauces to just 3: Cholula, which goes well with most anything, Tabasco, for cajun dishes and omelets, and Sriracha for rice and asian dishes.

You must add Marie Sharps to the list of habanero commercial sauces, and El Yucateco. They are among the first, commercially, to offer habanero sauces and they have perfected their recipes. The three sauces you list I generally avoid unless there is nothing else. In my area, Tapatio is usually available and it is a very good spicy hot sauce, although not habanero but very low on the vinegary taste and plenty spicy.

I'm not sure I've ever heard tapatio referred to as spicy. I love it but I don't find it hot at all.

I pour it all over hash browns. Now that I'm old, sadly, my real hot sauce intake is pretty minimal :pout:

Tabasco & El Yucateco are the regulars here. Hank's is another favorite.

Found this guy at the fair. Lucky Dog Hot Sauce. A lot to choose from. Layers of flavor and the ass end is usually a burner.

I'm quite the fan of Lucky Dog. I've got a half dozen of them in my cabinet currently. They make a good product for sure.
