    I just looked it up and the ‘Niners SOS is the easiest since the 2015 Falcons. I know the SOS is based on the previous year and doesn’t account for the teams that are notably better or worse. However it’s not totally meaningless. What’s my point? With the talent they have, missing the playoffs would warrant some major house cleaning. They should not only win the division but be no less than a 3rd seed. I’d be disappointed (if I was a fan of theirs) with anything less.

    Last year they surprised me, so not so big a surprise this year, unless they make it all the way to the big game … they aren’t that good yet IMHO. Decent chance all 3 West teams you mentioned make it back to postseason. I still think the Chiefs win the division by a game or 2 if they stay relatively healthy.

    Not that good yet? We just majorly upgraded our defense. The D-Line all returns. We upgraded at CB, Safety and LB. We have a stout O-Line (ranked 7th last year). We added a solid WR. The running game got multiple upgrades.


    The only question really is the TE position. The free agent we signed has a known injury history. The TE we drafted only has 1 catch in his college career.

    Bo Nix has been putting in the work this off season. I fully expect him to take a huge step forward.

    Anything less than a division crown will be a major disappointment in Denver.

    My ‘not that good yet’ was specifically making it to the big game … the Super Bowl. Saying they aren’t yet the BEST team in the AFC this year isn’t an insult. They are definitely trending the right direction. The AFC West will be very competitive.

    So the Cowboys fans, shooting from the hip, think he is Dak's replacement. I honestly think he has all of the physical assets to be that but he needs to mature a LOT more before he can get to that point. We'll see if he gets that far.

    you should see improvement and discipline with Vrabel at HC. 9-8 is realistic. Playoffs? Probably not.
