I'll take a extended cab, 6' bed, TRD Pro with the ISO seats. Don't need a useless rear seat taking up valuable bed length. Change the finish of the shiny fender flares and add the option of an air compressor in the bed. Allow dampener adjustment from inside the cab not at each individual shock. Come on Toyota, I'm waiting. You can do it!

Seems the ISO seats cab killers have not been received well for 2 yrs now, over all (of course there are those that disagree).. Any word yet that they will become optional... doesn't "smell" like it?

Don't make it cost the same as a Fullsize Truck. It's hard to shop for a Midsize Truck when right down the street you can look at a Fullsize for just about the same price. I won't be in the market anyway but is Toyota trying to price themselves out of the Market?

Hoping for a hybrid with the 6' bed at some point in the future. I'd also like to see them put a power drivers seat in the lower trim levels like they did in the later years of the 3G as standard equipment, or even as a standalone option without having to have it bundled with items that are not necessary.

What's wrong with the current seat? Folks around here say 4G is the best.

Yesterday I saw 2.7 F-150 STX listed for 45something had the FX4 package console and what use to be the Rattler package so black bumpers dual outlet exhaust. I didn't look to see what rear it had FX4 is usually 3:55 ratio. I also saw a SR5 Xtracab TSRP of 45k, it must have been loaded up with accessories

Yeah that historically seems to be Toyotas thing, remove things then trickle them back in.

    Take the 4Runner for example:
4th Gen 2003 Limited: Reflector headlights, incandescent tail lights, no whip antenna.
4th Gen Refresh, 2006 Limited: Projector headlights, LED tail lights, memory seats, no whip antenna.

5th Gen 2010 Limited: reflector headlights, incandescent tail lights, no memory seats, whip antenna.
5th Gen refresh 2014 Limited: projector headlights, LED tail lights, memory seats, no whip antenna.

I’m sure there’s more with the other trim levels, but that’s the first thing that came to my mind.

And in 5 years it will be just another clapped out Ford. Shiny when new but they don’t last.

3rd gen was an odd ball for 2018 (owned every year of them almost, lol). Toyota added TSS to them to say the whole line had it which required some grill updates for the radar and the gone gopro mount and now camera up front. Also saw the packages change in which a premium truck got you JBL included (was a different package prior) and now softex seats, few other things but nothing major and was never really considered a refresh per Toyota. With the way the Tundra has gone Id bank on little updates, am curious what the 2026 Tundra refresh will bring.

Judging by the sales numbers, a lot of people think the price is fair. Size is only a small part of the price. The full size trucks that are just about the same price are not comparable.

Hopefully not Arene as it looks like Toyota has stripped most physical controls with the new RAV4.

I'm recommending a fullsize vs a midsize for towing. I've only regulary driven a F-150, can't speak on any other fullsize truck. I hear of a lot of 10spd complaints, I also see a lot of those transmissions in front of trailers I'm sure people do experience issues with those transmissions. Oddly enough GM who is currently no.1 In fullsize sales and has 10spd complaints, and Ford is probably no.2 people still buy them. Most of which are commercial sales. It's a tool engineered to do a job. Same as the Tacoma, you just get more leverage from from a fullsize.

I've been driving full size trucks since 2003, the part you're missing is it sucks to drive large trucks around town anymore. Yes they're better at towing, yes they have more room, yes they're not much more BUT after moving back to a Tacoma I don't have to drive a land barge around anymore that has a poor ride and get crap MPG.

I do still have a Bronco with the 2.7TT and 10 spd, good platform but I wouldn't want to keep it much after warranty.

If the trucks are similarly equipped, the full size costs far more.

Yup, do this in an OR and Toyota'll have all my money.

When do y'all think they'll announce the '26 changes? Last year, it might've been December, but I think they've otherwise been announced during the summer.
