2025 and Beyond 4th Gen New Features

    You should be able to do this already with the key that's in the remote?

    I'd like:
    • dash button to disable rear parking sensor stuff for when using a bike rack. Sure, you can do it from the info screens but a button would be easier
    • keylock on the power tailgate in case the mechanism should fail with a locked hard tonneau cover.

    Jeez never thought about that. Guess if that lock failed with a hard tonneau cover you'd be busting up your cover to fix it. Hopefully that never happens...

    Funny to read some of the current wish-list items because in 2016 we would’ve asked for basic features like LED headlights, power seats, Apple CarPlay(!), or more serious items like a taller cab, signs of torque below 4000rpm, or a transmission that knew when to shift. More proof that with Gen4, we’ve clearly come a long way, and then some.

    Besides possibly a larger fuel tank and continual refinement, Gen4 is good to go for ten or fifteen. And if they prove to be reliable long-term, in another 30-40 years, the consensus will point to this one as the best ever.
