My wife went crazy for those things...then she realized how much she was spending. lol

Now, it's buying the ingredients and putting it together...much more economical.

I'm doing chicken cacciatore...only using diced tomatoes, green peppers, onions and small potatoes.

I cooked the chicken thighs in the oven for 35 minutes covered...then 10 minutes uncovered.

After warming up the other ingredients in a large flat pan, I put the chicken in and simmer for 20 minutes.

Easy peasy is what I like...and I try not to use lots of dishes and clean as I go! lol

 

I tried one piece of chicken thigh and the other ingredients…I think it’s perfect for me!

Almost done with litter boxes. It’s raining after I started the first box…I’ll wait until it stops and finish the second box.

Our wood floors are looking kinda mang-kee…British term for dirty! lol

I’ll put on a movie while doing the 2-stage process of cleaning wood floors; dry mop first then spray mop with Bona products.

Been watching John Wick 1 & 2.

 

Nevermind about watching John Wick...the Dodgers are on! WooHoo!

Well, at least I got quite a bit done yesterday:

Cleaned: litter boxes, wood floors, and meal-prepped for the week.

I started the day by cleaning the stove top...it was very mang-kee! (Dirty)

I've gotta get myself sorted for a business trip (Supply Chain Working Group) next month in SC.

Hotel is booked...now time for Airline/Rental setup.

This will be my second time down to Charleston in the same month as last year. (That was for Dangerous Goods training)

I need to look at our Site Lead's Trip Report from last year to see what what discussed, anything new and any follow-up needed.

Today is another training day (got one of many processes to capture) done here in the field.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Today begins some bargain days for online shopping...I'm glad I don't need anything! (Not getting anything for sure!)

I'm trying to discipline myself to put money away...although I'm a spender...deep down inside! lol

By that I mean, I like eating out...more often than my wife.

When I spend, it's usually a good chunk of change...like my recent TRD Lift Upgrade. (Which was my AF Anniversary Gift to myself)

I've got to get better at balancing my monthly expense budget...it's a work in progress! lol

 

Well it’s prime day lol

 

Prime day is mostly a scam lol.

I always eye things and then watch the prices go up a few days before prime day, then back down “on sale.”



I will offer that some of the dog food have coupons. My pup gets Purina pro and they had 10 off a 15lb bag

 

That's what it's called...this shopping day!

Yeah, I'm trying to keep my "wants" to a minimum...if not, "avoiding the need to spend money on stuff I don't need."

We're saving for a new roof...and will pull the trigger once my truck is paid off!

On my other savings challenge is the DB SE Tonneau Cover...not in a rush for that!

 

I got off work early and skipped the gym today...mowed the grass in record time on Riding Mower!

15 minutes front yard.
25 minutes back yard.

Of course, I wear long sleeve cotton shirt and baseball cap...along with hearing protection/N95 mask/Sunglasses.

Man, it is one hot mofo!

Gonna do the edging tomorrow...right now a cool shower is overdue! lol
