    This and that
I’ve seen a few rattlers die at the hands of posse all gassed up on skittles flavored energy drinks.

I kill every stealthy Copper Head I find on my property. All others get a pass, including Rattlesnakes. At least the Rattler lets you know he's getting ready to fuck you up.

It sounds like I don't want to bring spiders up here. Pest?

    Snakes don't have ears.

And contrary to some of the posts most are harmless to people. I take great joy in walking up on them and capturing a good image.
There are some 17 species of rattlers in Arizona, really nice looking ones each specie with their own unique characteristics. They are
all terrified of people and will not make a move towards you.

As long as I was sure it would not interfere with my driving I wouldn't care if it was in there or not. Problem is it could get up under the
    dash and mess with wiring.

Might start with looking at easy obvious spots, then take out the glove box and see if it yields clues. Most likely it wants to get out of there too.

Personally I can’t stand snakes so I’d park my truck in an open field and burn it to the ground!

I'm still itching to find a prairie rattler out here. So many days spent fishing throughout their range and I have yet to see one. But it's been a heck of a year for garters. Only seen one bull in the wild supposibly they have a right nasty attitude but this guy was super chill.

I'm pretty sure it's not the snake in the pictures, the eyes are different :)

I left the windows rolled down today, it'll be around 90 degrees today, will he crawl out? I wish he'd leave a note with his intentions. It could be a girl I guess. Would a snake show anything on those thermal cameras, due to their cold blood?

Your very unlikely to see them on thermal. How large was this bull? There's alot but not alot of places for it to go at the same time in the dash.

The truck is covered in dust. I didn't do that so I'd see its tracks, but hey, if it works...

It was a couple feet long, almost had him until he slithered in the vent.

A story told to me by someone who was quite calm about it, but then most who have never seen a rattlesnake curled up 15 ft away having walked by accidentally on the trail find the idea of seeing one terrifying ...

The woman said she was walking on "Lost Ranch" trail in South Mountain Park. Those who have not walked it do not know it rises about 1000 ft in 3/4 mile ... narrow (2 ft at points) with a not-irrelevant drop-off to one side and a hill to the other side. She stopped to rest because it was June and hot. Before continuing to walk she looked down and saw a snake (Diamondback or no ... did not matter I guess at the time) wrapped halfway around her ankle. I guess she made a good "shade tree". She carefully prepared and slid her leg toward the dropoff edge to move it down the slope.

I guess you become less scared of snakes when you go through a situation like that. The worst I have encountered is a green rattler that was 10 ft off the trail I happened to be walking down. Coiled and rattling but was OK with me moving on and leaving it alone.

Current vehicles: 2019 Rav4 Lunar Rock. 2018 TRD OR DCSB KD Max tuned. 2010 Tundra Limited Crew Max . 1991 4Runner Crawler. Ivan Stewart Edition
KD Max Tune, King 2.5 coil overs T.C. UCA's, Deaver leafs, 17x9 Black Rhyno Warlords, 33" Toyo M/T's, Metal Tech rear bumper, Westin HDX drop steps with Bullet Liner coating, K&N CAI, Baja Designs fog pods, Rigid Midnight addition 3" pod ditch lights. Cali Raised brackets and 32" behind the grill mounted light bar, Southern Style Offroad Lopro Stage II front bumper, Warn winch, FACTOR 55 Ultra Hook, FACTOR 55 Hawes Fairleed, full debadge, Cosmetic goodies such as 15% carbon tint, matte black in channel rain guards, interior LED's, Teton Workshop shift knob, Inferno vinyl detailing on the interior, Cali Raised multi rocker switch cubby insert with Mc Tuning LED switches and a few other mods I've probably left out.
I have to assume they're getting in throught the vent intake located below the bottom of the windshield where it meets the hood and where the windshieldwipers attach. Take the plastic cover off and put a piece of wire mesh over the veny intake. I did this to my Tacoma, Rav4, and my Tundra. Its very easy to do and you'll never have to worry about critters getting in again

How about smoking him out? Perhaps one of those bug foggers?
