So… with the newest generation of 6 lug Tundras being out for a bit now, anyone swap the brake system to a 3rd Gen Taco yet??

Looking to do an upgrade! I know this is a thing for previous generations.

I don't know this for certain, but Tundra brakes might require 18" wheels... which would be a "no-go" for most Tacoma owners.

I don't know about a tundra upgrade but there are a ton of aftermarket BBK kits for the Tacoma. I went with a Wilwood kit and could not be happier.

I'm interested to see if it's possible, but as Bertw192 says, it might require an 18" wheel to fit, and your tacoma brake booster might not push enough fluid volume to make a significant difference.

I'm still weighing options for brake upgrades. I'm edging towards the 5th gen 4runner caliper and rotor, and moving to a 17" wheel so I can move to a tall 33"/34" tall and skinny tire.

I’ve got 18” Enkei RPT1’s… so check!
