Won’t it come out when it’s gets thirsty? Park it someplace hot for a few days and set up some trail cams?

Well he just showed up again on the dash, then slithered off again like before when we tried to lovingly relocate him outside. I'll try to get a picture if/when he shows up again.

Dash allows access to sun. Sounds like a good place to put a trap, with a yummy dead mouse.

I opened the hood and left it open, in case that's an ingress point which could become an egress point. I didn't see an obvious hole to get from there to the cab. Maybe I should put something on the dash that snakes find attractive, like uh...whatever that is.

I once got a skunk out from under a house by playing Barry Manillow loud on a boombox, I don't know a snake's musical aversions though, maybe Barry would get him in a swooning mood and he'd like it.

I gotta a skunk using the cat door getting in the cat food, likes to hide under my truck. They are one of the animals in nature that dgaf. Scaring them away is dicey. Maybe I’ll try Barry. Also not a pest, but eats pests, as long as doesn’t have a smorgasbord of cat fud.

C4 is better. Maybe mix some thermite and ice in the engine compartment and cabin. Much more spectacular.

Wow. I ran into this blue-spec on the Pima Canyon Trail. Just chillin out. Damn thing could have cared less if I was 10
feet away from it snapping images. I find the 'specs' to be quite chill.

All jokes aside, rattlers prefer to go away from us than bother us ... unless we give it no choice (poke with stick ... "Is that REAAALLLLLLY a snake mommy?!").

    This and that
    According to Sonoma ecology center

    • 55 percent of bite victims are men between the ages of 17 and 27
    • 85 percent of bites are on the hand or fingers
    • 28 percent of bite victims are intoxicated
    Love these numbers. Lol

Of those 85% I wonder how many preceded the event with the declaration 'Hold my beer'... and/or were taking selfies...
