Ac shuts off after seconds.

    Well I guess I'm going to try swapping them was hoping that it wasn't into the pressure but if it works out then it's still cheaper than going to a shop which I'm still a week out from, and who knows how long they will need to fix it and I can't be without my only vehicle. I think this is the problem though since I can make it stay on 3 times as long if I have the rpms from 2500 to 3500.

    And boom it works it was the rpm lock sensor. Swapped my old one and it worked. So my old clutch took a crap and replaced all with aftermarket just swap the sensor and it's

    Boom it worked. Swapping old ac rpm stop switch to new aftermarket compressor.

    Yes it opens the high side. Didn't have a recovery so I have been playing parts darts

    I had the A/C clutch plate crap out on my 2021 a couple weeks ago, driving to work and had a horrible squeal when the air kicked on.

    $40 part from eBay, got it back up and running in a couple hours. Hardest part was getting the 1 bolt out since the inner part of the plate had actually separated from the rubber, had to get vice grips clamped on the lip and then jam a screwdriver to stop it from spinning with the wrench.

    Damn, seems like all of a sudden I’m seeing a million of these clutches being posted about. Common back order part for OEM so hope I never need one…knock on wood.
