    I've gotten tips for adjusting air pressures for customers many times, also gotten tips for helping out of towners get back on the road... lol
    We had an older celebrity that used to come in and the guys in the shop would always try to help him 1st, if it was a road hazard tire replacement or something cheap, most of the time he would give the mechanic a $100 bill and tell them to keep the change... Very cool older guy to deal with...



    I am at the age and time in my life that I just give a $1.00 if on the screen for non tip jobs, $1.00 is not gonna make me or break me and I seem to get a little better service when I do, but yeah, as a life long tightwad it irks me a little but I figure oh well...

    I know this is supposed to be about parking...
    Can we include backing a trailer up?
    If so....dude...
    I got this imbisil across the street....gads!
    Even without a trailer...it's at least 3 trys just to get backed in the drive..and it's a nice straight shot on a 12' wide concrete drive.
    These fools are so bad, after replacing my 4x4 mailbox post a couple times, I finally put in a steel mailbox post. The post is two pieces of 1/4" wall 2-1/2" square. 8' long. The two lengths are welded together the entire 8' length.
    4' of it is in the ground. Good luck busting that one off.
    I've found pieces of taillights and chrome in my yard. The other neighbor busted out the back window of her minivan backing into it.
    Her response,..."I thought your mailbox was plastic.."
    My response, "Nope, that's 1/4" thick steel too, just for folks like you.."
    Backing up should be a right of passage...

    Oh and the guy with a trailer...10 to 12 attempts to back in. I kid you not. Most of the time, he gives up and uncouples the trailer and pushes it in by hand.
    Best free entertainment.
