I got the itch to flat bed my Tacoma again today. Been fighting that urge for a while. If I could build it either of the ways I want. I think I’d do it. But a basic ass flatbed kind of sucks.

If I’d quit being a cheap ass it would be easier. Because what I really want is a mini bale bed that’s got live hydraulics on it for all sorts of awesomeness. And hydraulic tool usage

Already have one on my super duty! But I need 2! Plus with the 3rz there’s room up top for a pump! Don’t remember which side.

 

Like round hay bale bed? Or am I totally thinking the wrong thing? Aren't those electric?

 

You’re on the right path. You can get them electric one on the super duty is. You can also get them PTO driven. So you have live hydraulics. Which is what I want now.

Im slowly coming around the more i drive the F250 at work.
Though with all the tools and service bed i really should have a 350

I'd ALMOST miss my zx3 - though I'd tarbo'd it too - pretty sure I bent something in that engine too; so maybe fair to go away.
