My house came with one of those setups to cover the entire patio... it was elaborate haha. It gets hot here but like... not that hot.

I remember seeing them setup outdoors in restaurants and other outings in AZ, NV, and NM.

Is it just tied to one of your outdoor faucets? I did add a T to mine when we moved in so the option is already there.

Could definitely help if we're ever outside in the afternoon cause it definitely gets hot hot here :bananadead:

can't imagine the carnage that would ensue if 2 people toppled over in that thing at speed

might just be an AI image restoration

Not the cheapest way to do it but we got this kit from the depot (think I used 3), it was super easy to cobble together and then just added a splitter to the spigot and ran a line down to it. Feels pretty sturdy and had it buttoned up in an afternoon. There are cheaper kits but hoping this one lasts.

For sure we avoid the heat of the day when we can but during pool days/parties or even when I’m just outside using the smoker or grill, it’s a godsend!

I roll the portable swamp cooler I use in the garage out there for pool parties too.

We had that Amazon mister setup at our old house, put it in like a month before we found out we had to move. Ended up taking it down super quick and lost most of the little connectors and stuff. It was pretty easy to set up though.

Y'all got an outdoor firepit or stove for cold days/nights?

Sucks it never gets cold enough to warrant getting/making one

Ooh you gave me a good idea

I have a sprinkler timer tied into my T (never chopped off my PVC though) but I guess I could use that for a mister.

It was for the real grass I had in the back that died a slow and painful death due to ground squirrels :bananadead:

Looking to replace my shitty soundbar/surrounds setup I picked up with my TV a couple years ago. Trying to find something 'decent', without getting too deep into that world or spending $5k.
Trying to be all in about $4-500 for a 5.1 setup, not including a receiver I already have. That leaves used as the only option.
Found these, which are the first that I've found and googled and not read 50 posts about how shitty they are from the audiophile crowd
Would pick up a sub elsewhere
    What do y'all think?

That Mythos set sounds nice, had my ears on a set

If you want Real dynamic, Klipsch' entire line is very efficient and runs well on just an AVR by itself

I say this cause most people don't want to buy a separate 5 channel amp

If you get that Mythos set, hunt for a decent Denon, Harmon Kardon, or Onkyo receiver

Denon especially pairs well with Klipsch since they can be rather "bright"

Edit: just re-read that you've got an AVR already

Yeah I got gifted a 5.2? AVR from a friends dad a while ago. He has an AV company so I assume its good enough, had HDMI like I wanted at least, but I do need to double check the specs on that
    its a Pioneer VSX-45

Other thing I was looking at was just going cheap and picking up this set From what I could find the towers are Sony SS-MF400h's
Sounds like the Mythos is definitely worth the extra $ though?
