The Zumo XT2 has been out for a while now and I've seen rumors the XT is being discontinued but I don't know that as a fact yet. The mounts are different so if you want to use the existing mount you need to find an XT. I've been really pleased with mine coming from a Garmin Nuvi 295 to a Garmin Zumo 660. The XT has been the best so far IMO. Bright enough screen to see even when the sun is hitting it which was a real problem with the other units. That mount is super easy to use and holds it securely. Making a route on the unit itself is more user friendly. Over that air updates with wi-fi. Can load music on it and use it for tunes. Can run your cell phone through it and bluetooth it to a com unit.

UPS did something similar to my grandparents before. They started refusing to drive in their 500 foot driveway and would just leave the package next to the driveway by the road. One winter a package was never delivered as far as they could tell. They found it when the snow melted... Was after that UPS started delivering to the local post office instead of all the rural addresses out there.

I have two packages RMATV being delivered with On-Trac, two separate deliveries, and fully expect them to end up on the other side of town. They do it every time. The call to On-Trac goes something like this.
"sir here's a pic of your package at your front door"
"Lady, that ain't my door. Mine is brown, that one is yellow"
"Sir, go outside and check. it's probably there"
"Lady, that ain't my house, try again."
"Sir, go around your neighborhood and see if you can find it"
"Lady, are you frigging kidding me? Tell your driver to go back and get it and get it to the right address, the driver has one job and they failed"
Hours later, the package shows up, opened of course.
    On-Trac sucks.

The local On-Trac is directly behind the building I work in. The few times I have something shipped through them and see it's at the local sorting facility or whatever it's called, I wanna walk back there and get it, lol. If only I could.

Time to start saying you didn't get the package, and you have no idea where it was delivered. There isn't even a door in the picture.

LMAO that picture would be the best proof for the easiest refund you could get. Might as well have just thrown it in the woods anywhere

my thoughts exactly. You hear about those USPS drivers that were just dumping all the mail in the woods

    I don't think I have, that's nuts. I would be furious.

A couple times lately, I've had packages get returned to sender for "invalid address" via USPS. I'm thinking it was either laziness or a new driver, because I get packages and mail delivered to my house all the time lol. And the address was definitely correct.

Oh, I'd be beyond pissed. That's anger material on multiple fronts. First, loss of mail that could lead to missed bills and such. Second, lots of litter. Third, and possibly the most egregious, that is a lot of personal info just dumped where any scumbag can get to it.

I'm not litigious, but if my mail were dumped like that and I would up having late fees or getting my identity stolen or something I would 1000% be getting a lawyer. I'd sue the person who did it, the contracting company they worked for, and USPS for the headache.

Anyone try one of these inexpensive Android Auto/Carplay units? Thinking about whether this would create a solution to not having to mount my expensive phone to the bike anymore or if I'm just creating more complication.

I have a Carpuride that's been great. I haven't used it in a bit, but when I had my S1000XR it was awesome, also popped it onto my F800GS for a road trip and worked great then too. I don't know how much cheaper than the carpuride I'd go, though. The one thing I did change from stock settings was the audio routing. I didn't want to connect my phone to it, then connect my helmet to it, so I just kept the phone audio routed directly to my helmet.

This is the generic version of the one I used. The one I bought was had the BMW gps interface pre-installed on it, this one has the more universal mounts. 5" was a good size for me.
