Finally got around to working on my buddies dump trailer jack. The piece the jack mounts to is flimsy so I pulled it back with some chains and binders and braced it good. Now it has a little bit of a reverse lean to it instead of a forward lean :anonymous:

    Cole took the picture :D

Wife and kids gave me that for Father's Day. Got to use the new cable clamp yesterday too. The one on my ground cable had a 3/8" eye and I needed a 1/2".

Now I need another one for the portable welder.

    ASE TESTS ARE A JOKE.
Especially with the electrical. I was Toyota and Chrysler. None of the questions were about those systems. It was all GM. So you not only didn’t know the System, you have to figure out how the system worked, the terminology, and then diag the question and then answer it. I took all the tests at once. My brain was fried after. I know of a few techs that couldn’t pass those tests but, they could fix anything. My friends wife passed the ac test after reading the brochure for 10 min.
Now, you can’t even access the shop computers unless you have certifications (sick). I’m so glad I’m out….
But, that being said, congratulations… Hopefully, they will get off your back for at least a few days….lol

Good stuff Evo good for you man. I'm sure at times you leave work with a scrambled brain but I'd rather have that than scuffed knuckles and a broke down back. Stay with it...

This 1923 fire truck just got restored in Iowa and brought back to N.C. for the 4th of July parade, they came to me with a lug nut and said they are missing 3 and can't find any one to make them.

Kinda what I was thinking. The lug nuts are pretty simple, a 7/16-14 acorn nut

Somebody did their ugga duggga socket torque to 37 ft lbs and that didn't quite make it.

You can't make this stuff up, I'm at Boeing today...Starliner...the program that left two Astronauts stranded on the space station...

Suni the one astronaut is here, along with every big wig in the company, ice cream truck out front. Everybody here is clapping and bouncing around to loud loud music... Handing out stickers and pens and patches huge celebration, pictures with Suni...

Me and the guy I'm with are like...do they not know the mission was a complete failure?
