To go off the other posts... a worthwhile upgrade is definitely the horns. The stock ones are so weak and sad.
I upgraded to this type and they certainly get the attention of whoever you are honking at.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It says it's a Pioneer... but in my experience screen type head units suck no matter who makes em

Looks great. Did they pull the window trims and what about the windshield trims or where they able get good results painting around them. This is on my list and the windshield trim is my concern...and pulling the bed.

Taped all the trim and got really good results, also kept the bed on as I was keeping the factory color so the blending of old paint to the new isn’t noticeable. There are a few small spots on the rear window trim where some spray got on but 99.9% of all the trim is clean. I told the dude I didn’t want a perfect paint job because this is my hunting truck. But he did such a good job it’s gonna be hard for me to take it elk hunting next month lol

I found a local guy who paints cars at home, after welding in the new beside patch and body work and paint he charged me $1500.

My passenger front was making a grinding noise until it just failed, took it apart and found the small gear on the motor was split. I checked new actuator prices also and ended up just disconnecting the power locks on that door for now.
Couldn't pay the >300 for OEM and don't know which knock off to trust. Is Rock Auto for $150 the same as the Amazon $50 one? I think I even saw a $20 on Amazon, but had 1 review of catching on fire!!
I want to see if I can find the gear or have someone 3d print one and just repair the old one.

Where did you get the nylon spring pads, and is the blue on the ends just grease?
I've got Frankenpacks that need to be reworked.

Nylon pads were from wheelers. For the dakars I think it was 6 each side. Blue grease is that same ford grease I used in the slip yoke. I would imagine any grease would work.

Installed the ARK splash guards today. The quality is amazing, my yotaliners ripped after a few months. The fitment though, pretty poor. I had to punch a hole in the material to get one hole to work and need to do it a few other places. The included clips were also absolutely terrible.
    quality 10/10
    fitment 3/10

I believe these are gonna hold up nicely at least.
