Get out and make the loop if you have the chance. They say it will be closed "until further notice" on 24 April.

I went halfway around this past week and it was a nice workout for the truck. Good backcountry style camping up there, too.

Nice tent, but I like your A.R.E. better.

It's not mine anymore! I liked the shell, too. But this is more practical for us (we tried sleeping under the shell and it was a little claustrophobic)

    I got 255/85's and love 'em :D.

I've camped at Crisfield airport before, but never been to Jane's. How was it?

The camping was a little "KOA-ish" haha and also expensive ($30 a night!)

    Dang!

You ever camp at Assateague? That's where I mainly camp. It's also close to Ocean City.

Yeah they have the beach side and bay side camping there, both are really nice. In the past few years they have really upgraded their bathrooms and shower stations as well. Last I heard it was only about $20 a night and a year round pass into the park itself is only $30 (with cheaper weekend passes available too). I've been camping and using the ORV area there since I was a kid and I've got nothing but good things to say about the place.
