Non Tacoma Question

That plastic piece on the underside of the front bumper on n the 4G looks like the lid of a dumpster. I'm not talking about the air dam.

 

^Those have been there for a while, just less pronounced. 2nd gen had two divots. 3rd gen had three. Toyota probably saw this and figured more divots = more sales, so 4th gen has six.

 

A coworker did this to his Bronco Sport. At first he just replaced the bumper and practically the entire lower half of the frame was exposed and it looked like ass. I almost said something to him. A week later he had some sort of cover added that makes it look a little better when looking at it straight on, but from the side, it still looks like ass. And some of the electrical wiring is still directly exposed.

He should have just bought a Bronco.

 

My guess is that you got banned for asking a non-Subaru (Tacoma) question.

 

The full bumper don't look too bad. I agree should have got a Bronco if he is putting money into the Sport.

I was talking about this front end. What is that bar bolted too?

 

Normally those bolt to the wall next to toilets.

 

Haaaa ha no... the site sent out a global message that using a specific word ( starts with 'T' and ends with 'F' ) would be the trigger
for a total lifetime ban. So I replied with the same word over and over again just to make sure they understood my message.

Hint: the word has something to do with additional costs to consumers when goods arrive into port from other places ... LOL

 

It looks better after he put the shield on but I am struggling with this on both sides. It looks worse on the drivers side because there is an exposed wiring harness.

 

Just say tariff, also move on, make a new name and run with it.

I was nearly banned once for my use of "ghetto blasters" and got an entire lecture on the state of the Jewish ghetto.

I grew up 10 minutes from Gary indiana. Ghetto blasters referring to obnoxious subwoofers was the only way I knew it...

 

Can't say I'm a fan of that.
