Never ran any to say. Only bluetooth set I use are earphones for when I'm in the shop sometimes.

All my PC headphones are wired, and @Rock Lobster actually 3D printed my headphone stand I use.

Currently I have OG airpod pros I wear to work and the gym, with headset/speakers at the desk
The pros will be getting upgraded to the 3's when they release hopefully this year, non-negotiable, since I wear them allll day at work and mine are old and getting shitty, plus I cant wear over ears at work
But I've been thinking about getting nice noise canceling over ears for the gym and anytime I fly since pod noise cancelation will never be as good as an over ear
Probably shouldn't also get a nice pair of desk headphones lol

    Gotcha.

Yeah I hear airpods are expensive, which doesn't surprise me since anything Apple is expensive AF.

I run wired headphones because good headphones require proper amplification. Higher end headphones normally run at a higher impedance which require a much stronger/dedicated headphone amp.

Thing about quality over the ear headphones is, you can really tell the difference easily between a good set and a bad set. The investment itself is much smaller (with a larger return) compared to higher end speakers/amps in your home.

I've got an older pair of Shure headphone and a little Fiio pocket amp, but I really don't use either that much anymore. I've become lazy and phones don't have headphone jacks anymore.

i loved my senny headphones. definitely need a dac or amp for those though

on the slightly cheaper side audio technica m30x sound great and will run good without a dac. i still use them for gaming and have m50s for work

    Completely forgot about Shure

Real punch to the gut against Bose where everyone with money to burn bought into the whole Bose following

Shure put out some good cans

I loved my Seinnheisers, can never go wrong

Made the switch to closed backs though so I don't see myself going back to open back or Seinnheiser in general

Yup, just a small class d transistor amp and a lithium battery, input and output with a volume knob. They just have much higher wattage potential, cause really higher quality headphones started with the DJ and audio processing scene and all that equipment had strong amplification and the headphones were built to deliver high fidelity at that kind of power.

yeaa i dont have a lot of love for open back headphones because the nature of wanting headphones is for the additional noise blocking lol

i dont think i need to spend extra money for sennys to get what i need…most audio sources aren’t high quality enough to justify the extra spend

oo its just chase points you use on Amazon
I have the amazon card for 5% back on everything there, but it shows you how much you have available at checkout so I always just apply it the order

I've never used a single point of my Chase specific points or Amex points, saving them all for an imaginary europe or asia trip I want to take some day
