Question. Anyone that had installed the trail grid pro pre-wired anytime camera kit. Does your switch stay constantly illuminated? I was under the impression that the backlight would only come on with the headlights. Emailed them and they told me no.

    Thanks

I get the camera kit. The light on Anytime Switch comes on when you activate the forward, or reverse camera.

I've got the Anytime Backup camera kit installed. The blue backlight comes on with the rest of the dash lighting when the lights are on. The reverse and fwd. lights come on when you select one or the other or when you shift into reverse and the rear view camera automatically comes on.

The prewired harness I got illuminates the camera symbol blue all the time. The yellow lights indicate if you toggle the switch to activate either camera or put the truck in reverse. This was purchased before the upgraded camera was an option, not sure if the wiring changed at all.

thank you. This is how mine operates as well. I thought it strange they would want to make it always illuminated
