Yeah, Westcott does great work, they will install other manufacturers equipment without issue.

I’ve heard great things about Az Toy Pros and Underground Motor Sports. It’s just such a haul from where I am at, 303/Happy Valley.

I’ve gotten a few quotes and all seem reasonable and they are all in the same ball park. I’m leaning towards Wulf Off Road in Peoria due to the availability they have currently, lots of people are booked pretty far out currently. They specialize in jeeps but do work on Toyota as well.

Last question for everyone. I’m currently sitting on 600lb springs with a Bilstein 6112/5160 combo, front is set at 2.6”. I have sliders and skids. Love the way it rides and handles currently. I’m going to start out with the same springs but what has been your experience with adding a steel bumper and winch to the front? Did you lose any ride height? If you are running 650, or 700lb springs how is that ride? I feel that 700lb springs would be overkill and it would ride like a wooden wheeled donkey cart, that’s where I think 650lb springs would be the sweet spot. Thanks in advance!

That’s strange, for my 4Runner when I’ve looked at the compatibility 700lb springs are an option with the 6112 on a couple of websites I’ve looked at. I may be mistaken so I’ll double check, either way I doubt 700lb springs would be right for it either way.

I stand corrected. I thought I read something that 700lb springs weren't recommended with 6112's. Carry on. :anonymous:

This morning I met up with an out of town friend in Sedona and we ran Broken Arrow. Had the trail almost entirely to ourselves because summer. Only had one photo(video) bomb by a Pink Jeep Tour but other than that it was great. I cant believe how little the 40s rub with absolutely zero trimming and only removing a couple small plastic trim pieces. Time for 42s when these wear out

After a Quick Look I’ve seen mixed results. Bilstein has them listed for 8112’s only. On one of the websites I looked at had them as an option for both. I would tend to believe the manufacturer. So you’re right! Either way I wouldn’t want to run that heavy of a spring but was seeing what experiences others had in terms of ride quality. Thanks again and sorry for the confusion.

So you’re saying I can fit 40’s on mine. Haha. I want bigger tires but with its primary purpose being a tow vehicle I’m going to behave myself. I say I’ll only go 35’s when I need tires but 37’s are very tempting

Yes hahaha. You can run 37s on stock suspension with essentially zero trimming if you get the right offset. But youre starting to get into a pretty tall sidewall for when you have the camper loaded up.

Damn, I didn't realize Sedona clears out when it's this hot!

Last time I was there, I was with the ex about to make a terrible mistake, but it was SO jammed with people I was in kind of a foul mood getting there. People going slow, people unable to operate traffic circles, it was a nightmare.

There was this couple in some kind of brand new Volvo that was fixing to yoink a spot I was sitting there waiting for (and had taken like a half hour to find) at Tlaquepaque and I gave them the "I will return your hippie ass to samsara if you try it" look.:rofl:

True but a 4runner on stock tires has about the same rear diff clearance as a full size 2500 on 37s

700lb springs on 6112 kill the lower bushings fast. which can be hard to source to replace. Have to press them out and back in.

Yeah, I think I’m going to stay smart on this one and behave myself with something in the 35 range. But also want 35’s on the 4runner that already needs a smudge more trimming with the current 33’s lol
