If I had blue balls I'd probably take a break also.

My eldest daughter remembers "When Dad had blue balls." When the advice is given to relax and take it easy after that office visit, apply ice packs as needed, and have some bandages handy, I don't think the doc expected my next stop would be waiting in the car for an hour while the wife went in "to get those" and more... or spend the drive from Anchorage to Glennallen with my knees up against the dash since the rear hatch of the wagon was frozen shut after a pressure wash at 20 degrees the previous day. Freight had to be loaded from the side doors over two car seats to reach the back. The break in Glennallen with ice packs was sorely needed. At the time, it was a February 14th gift my wife desired

I'm skeptical as well, but that's what the local meteorologists and the open, newly emptied trash barrel indicated. Seeing shots of Boston on the news last night flashing similar numbers. Weather is taking a toll.
