Find a brand of .22 that works consistently. My G44 works well with Herters and Winchester Wildcat, but I have 2000-ish Federal .22 that jams (the inconvenient jam, not explodey-jam) once at least each magazine. I will use it for target practice and eventually will use it all. Apparently .22 just does not consistently have enough grains to operate the slide.

Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
Hopefully i get a good one and it'll eat everything. I've shot some M&P 22 Compacts and those things will eat everything. Too bad they're now illegal in IL

I blame the ammunition more than the G44. Even with an intense cleaning and liberal-ish gun oil on surfaces the bullets travel the spring strength overpowers the "bulk class" Federal ammunition.

In that case I think its the Glock. I've used the cheapest/shittiest 22s through that M&P and it never jammed :notsure:

I know a couple of brands that work, and that Federal may have been a bad batch (mid Panic-demic bulk buy because it was available). The G44 is target/training that is less expensive than the 9mm for my G45.

Assault weapons ban. The model I liked had a threaded barrel which was banned by the state and so I couldn't get one.

I definitely like the fact it takes 22s as they're much cheaper. My Hellcat Pro, Echelon Comp and APX A1 are all 9s.

While it may be ammo, it most definitely is the gun. G44s are picky - although, not every one will like the same ammo.
